Frequently Asked Questions

A quick look.

The questions investors ask most often. For the full FAQ, enter the Secure Store.

What is Aviona?

Aviona is a new way into private aviation: a regulated platform built around a Bombardier Global 5000 that lets you invest, fly, or simply belong.

Who is this for?

Eligible professional investors, family offices, founders, and executives who value structured access to private aviation.

Where is the aircraft based?

The Bombardier Global 5000 is based in the Hong Kong / Shenzhen area, serving Asia, the Middle East, and parts of Europe and Australia within range. Beyond range, the broader operator network supports substitute aircraft.

Is this a regulated investment?

Yes. Aviona is structured as a Hong Kong Limited Partnership Fund for eligible professional investors, with named counterparties across fund management, general partnership, operations, and counsel.

What is the digital ownership layer?

A secure record of holdings that connects ownership to flight access and member benefits. The technology supports efficiency and clarity, but stays quietly in the background.

How do I begin?

Request private materials through the contact form, or enter the Secure Store to review final terms and begin the subscription process.

What is Class A?

Class A is the senior, return-oriented path. It targets an 8% preferred return with quarterly distributions, backed by a real aircraft, with a defined redemption at year 4.

What is the minimum investment?

US$16,000 per Class A unit.

What is the redemption path?

Year 4 at US$16,000 per unit, plus accrued and payable preferred return.

How is Class A protected?

Class A holds a senior position in the redemption waterfall. The structure is designed to be substantially overcollateralized relative to the Class A capital base.

Do I get any flight access?

Yes. Class A holders also receive empty-leg seat access at $700/seat/hr and Aviona Membership Club access automatically.

What is Class B?

Class B is the fractional ownership side of Aviona. It is designed for investors who want to own part of a private jet and also receive practical flight benefits from that ownership.

What do I get with one Class B unit?

Fractional ownership exposure to the aircraft structure · 1 flight hour per year · whole-aircraft use at US$7,000 per flight hour · empty-leg flights at US$700 per seat per hour · Membership Club access included.

How does the holder flight rate compare to charter?

The reference charter price is about US$15,000 per hour, vs. US$7,000 per hour for Class B holders — roughly half. Even taking into account the initial investment, savings per hour over the 4-year period are over 40%.

Is capital returned at the end?

Yes. After year 4, Class B units are redeemed (after Class A is redeemed first) at US$8,800 per unit.

Can my family, friends, or company use my hours?

Yes. Hours can be used by family, friends, and company colleagues. You do not need to be onboard personally.

How far in advance do I need to book?

Standard lead time: 3 working days for domestic, 7 for international. Urgent bookings can often be arranged in as little as 6 hours domestic, 3 days international.

What's the simplest way to describe Class B?

Fractional ownership in a Bombardier Global 5000, 1 flight hour per year at US$7,000/hr, empty-leg access at US$700/seat/hr, and a meaningful portion of capital returned after year 4. For people who want both the status of ownership and the practical benefits of access.

What is the Aviona Membership Club?

A private access route into the Aviona ecosystem for clients who want curated entry without immediate ownership.

What does Membership include?

Priority empty-leg access, member pricing on selected capacity, curated dinners and private introductions.

How do I qualify?

By application. Ideal profile is founders, executives, and family office principals.

Can Membership lead to ownership?

Yes — designed as a natural pathway into Class B.

Is Membership included with Class A or B?

Yes. Class A and Class B holders automatically receive Aviona Membership Club access.
